The new TriStar events are a great addition to the Triathlon calendar. These events look to be the future of the sport, with larger fields and some amazing locations. The Team at TriStar are set on developing events in venues that are attractive destinations for athletes to compete in. The unique distances are set as 111 (1km swim, 100km bike and 10km run - total 111km) or 222 (2km swim, 200km bike and 20km run - total 222km). Check out these events if you get the chance. These events look very exciting and will be supported by Livestrong, The Lance Armstrong Foundation. Lance look scheduled to make his return to triathlon at the TriStar Monaco event in either 2010 or 2011.
