 Probably my favorite short course triathlon in the World and an event I dominated in my short course days, I have decided to return to the race that I have not done in 5 years. I won this race 5 times and have finished 2nd the other two times I have raced in Alcatraz. It is without question the most prestigious short course event to have in your resume as it is a race that suits all strengths of triathlon. Each discipline of swim, bike and run is about the same time to complete and the race was set up so as to find out who was the most rounded Triathlete or multi-sport racer in the World. The event has been owned by Andy Potts in the past few years and it will be great to get back out and race the new young brigade. I am looking forward to racing again in San Francisco.
